The Legality Of Cash Gifting

When taking part in any cash gifting system it is important to make sure you understand how to maintain legality, especially when dealing with the Internal Revenue Service. You do not want to end up in a courthouse trying to explain how you thought everything was fine or did not understand what you were getting involved in. Ignorance of the law does not excuse you from punishment, and neither does simply not understanding the laws either. Be very aware of what can or cannot be done in a cash gifting system.

A cash gifting system must conform to the Internal Revenue Service tax code, and must be a gift from an individual without an exchange for products or services as well as without coercion or other influence of force. The gift must be less than 12,000.00 per individual per tax year, according to the IRS Tax Code Title 29 and Publication 950, to be tax exempt.
